At Grace Baptist Church, we believe stewardship begins with understanding that everything we have is a gift from God — our time, our talents and our financial resources. Simply stated, God is the owner and we are the managers.
Why Should We Give?
To acknowledge that all we have belongs to God (Psalm 24:1 ESV)
As an act of worship (Proverbs 3:9 ESV)
Out of loving and grateful obedience (Deuteronomy 16:17 ESV)
Giving blesses the giver (2 Corinthians 9:6-8 ESV; Luke 6:38 ESV, Proverbs 11:24-25 ESV)
You cannot out-give God (Malachi 3:10 ESV)
