This notification is to let you know that two people in attendance for morning services Sunday, November 29, 2020, have since tested positive for Covid-19. Both were in attendance with family members for the contemporary worship and preaching times in the sanctuary. One of these two was also present in the youth life group Sunday and in attendance the previous Wednesday for the meal and youth services. We encourage everyone who attended during these times to be mindful and cautious of their health and the health of those they are in contact with who are at greater risk of illness. Anyone who was in attendance during these times that is concerned about exposure or at greater risk of illness from Covid-19 should contact their medical professional.
If you or a loved one begins to exhibit any known Covid-19 symptoms, you should immediately contact your medical professional.

Services at Grace Baptist Grandview for December 2020 will be as follows:
Sundays - We will resume normal worship and preaching services Sunday, December 6, 2020 at the regularly scheduled times. Sunday life groups are canceled for the month of December. Nursery and Toddler ministry will be available, and teachers will be taking extra precautions to protect children.
Wednesdays –Meals are canceled for December but life groups will still meet. We will move all life groups into larger areas to allow for safe distancing. Nursery and Toddler ministry will be available, and teachers will be taking extra precautions to protect children.
Home life groups throughout the week –
Home life group leaders please contact your ministry lead or the Pastor for information about meeting in December. For those who attend these, please contact the group leader for information regarding meeting this month. Moving your group or Christmas gathering to the church is the best option. Encouraging attendees to wear masks and practice distancing is the second option for groups who meet in homes.
Any additional schedule changes or cancelations will be communicated directly as necessary.
As the number of cases increases during this difficult time it is possible that someone may be in attendance without knowing they have Covid-19. This was the case Sunday, November 29. We strongly encourage everyone that is a part of the Grace family to watch out for one another. Everyone who attends in-person services is encouraged to observe safe distances, wash hands regularly, wear masks where appropriate, and be thoughtful about other’s health - especially those at increased risk of infection. By attending services we all have to acknowledge that there are risks and will look out for one another to the best of our ability.
No matter what, please do not attend any service if you are ill, even if mild and not related to Covid-19.
We will continue to simulcast Sunday contemporary worship and services on Facebook Live for those who cannot or choose not to attend in person: https://www.facebook.com/gracebaptistgv/
Love and blessings in our Lord Jesus!
Pastor Philip and the Elders
The elders have been seeking God’s direction concerning the role of Worship Leader for our congregation for right about a year. We believe that the Lord has led us to the right candidate and we would like to bring this candidate before the Body for a vote that indicates a confirmation that we have found God’s will in this important matter. We would like you to begin praying now and continue praying until the vote on January 10th. The candidate is David Martin. He and his wife have purchased land here in Grandview and are building a home. During the week David works for the Arlington Police Department. He has been leading worship since age 14 and has been leading worship at a church in the metroplex for the last 6 years. You will have an opportunity to hear his testimony over the next few days and will be able to meet him on Jan 9th at a meet and greet event before he leads worship on the 10th. Right now we are just asking everyone to seek the Lord and be ready to respond to what God is doing. Blessings!!
